A girl's got to eat!!

I'm ready and waiting to try some cereal!
What an odd sensation! I have to figure out how to eat from a spoon instead of sucking from a bottle. I wonder if I'll always gag when I eat... ???

Daddy what is this weird stuff you're putting in my mouth?
Hmmm...not much flavor and it doesn't smell good.

Mommy and daddy told me I was big enough to try eating 'real' food. I wasn't sure what they meant because I've been eating just fine for the last 6 months. They put some stinky rice goop on a silly spoon and starting sticking it in my mouth. Do you know how hard it is to eat from a spoon after you've been sucking your meals for so long? I have to learn all kinds of new things to do with my mouth now! Maybe if they added some hot sauce or syrup to the cereal it would taste better. I'll keep working on this new trick and see if I can get more rice in my tummy than on my face.
