Our first week at home

All ready to go to the doctor ~ my first trip outside the house at 4 days old!

Mom and Dad were lucky to have Mor Mor come stay for that first week. I was such a handful!

I love to sit in my Boppy and watch the bright lights on the TV flash.

What an amazing experience! Corinne was welcomed with so many friends and visitors at the hospital and we were sad to leave the wonderful staff at the MCHU. Mostly because they would take a crying Corinne to the nursery so mom and dad could catnap... :~) Courtney's mom (MorMor) was able to stay with us for a few days as we transitioned into our new routine. It was great to have her around for rocking and bonding with her new granddaughter. Eric was home for the first week and then had to return to work. :~( Now it's Courtney and Corinne ruling the roost all day until September when Courtney goes back to work.

We spent most of that first week sleeping. Eric was amazing and prepared lots of homemade dinners, took care of the grocery shopping, housecleaning, etc. What a man! MorMor made some tasty casseroles for us to freeze and they sure came in handy later when we were on our own. Nothing like some good home cooking when you're tired and the baby is crying!
